The organizers of the 4th Kochi Muziris Biennalethe largest gathering of art in South Asia,  has made possible a wonderful opportunity to have artworks of persons with autism to be exhibited at Kochi during the Biennale. Autism Club  would like to make an open call for artists from all over the country to be exhibited here. 


Please note that this is an Art Exhibition, it is not an Exhibition cum Sale.

Please read the following for more details:


1.         Well photographed clear images of works to be emailed to the Curatorial Team by end Dec. Additional details solicited are:      


a)     Size/Dimensions

b)     Material ( paper/canvas/wood/clay/stone etc)

c)      Meduim ( watercolour/acrylic/oil etc)

d)     If sculpture then approximate weight

e)     Any additional information

f)       If digital medium is being used then projector requirements


2.         Each artist can send upto 6 images of which a maximum of 3 would be selected for exhibition by the curatorial team.


3.         A brief write-up about the artist.


4.         The Curatorial Team comprising artists designated by the Biennale would study all the images and select works for the show.  Artists who have been selected would be intimated by 10 Jan 2019


5.         The Exhibition ready artworks  (must be appropriately framed or mounted) to reach Kochi by 30th Jan 2019. It is the responsibility of the artist/parent/Organisation to ensure the artworks are transported to and from the Kochi/site.


6.         Exhibition from 01 Feb 2019 to 10 Feb 2019 at Fort Kochi.


7.         While the safety of the artworks can be ensured by the biennale it would be advisable if a Responsible person of the artworks to be available for the duration of the exhibition.


8.         Responsibility of safe return of works after the exhibition is with the Organisations/parents/individuals.


This is an initiative taken up by Autism Club, in consonance with the Kochi Muziris Biennale. There is no financial outflow from the Biennale side for this event except for providing the space. We request all parents/organisations to please cooperate and adhere to the guidelines to ensure smooth conduct of the exhibition.
